Prologue
Walking home one day I ran into the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She had long dark curls and big blue eyes. She was the type of woman you could easily fall in love with. All the curves in the right places it seemed. I stood there watching her for some time. I could have sworn at the time I had fallen in love, but I have always told myself that love at first sight was impossible that it was a sham. Who would believe you could fall for someone without taking the time to talk and get to know them? Maybe, I was wrong because I knew at that moment I was in love. It's hard to explain the feelings I felt all at once. Strange as it is, I think she might actually be the one. Who knows? I just hope to see her again and maybe ask her out.
So it began my search for the woman of my dreams. The one who was walking that side walk on that beautiful spring day. I never knew I could fall for a woman the way I had. I always precived myself as mostly choosing guys, but she caught my eye. It was different. It was like she called to heart. I know it goes against much of who I am, but I don't care. Let people talk. Let them say what they want. As I started out on my search I found myself walking in the small park that was just a couple blocks from my house. Most would have thought to go straight to the sidewalk that you first saw the person, but not me. I figured if she was anything like me she might just be hanging at the park by herself sitting on the bench maybe watching passersby.
I can't seem to get her out of my head. Every direction I turn I picture her standing there blocking everything out. I sighed inwardly as my thoughts carried me to her. I stood standing in the middle of the side walk just picturing her. Man, I must be obsessed or something. These thoughts I wish would fade away just a little, so I wouldn't feel like I was a stalker or an obsessed person. While I'm standing there my good friend Kate bumps into me. I end up looking at her and giving her a friendly smile.
"Hello, Kate." I say, but she seems in too much of a hurry to stop for a conversation. However, I do catch a glimpse of fear on her face as she walks by.
Watching Kate walk away, I stand with worry now taking the place of the thoughts of my mystery girl. I quickly shake the thoughts of the "What if's" that had suddenly formed grimacing at a few of them.
I slowly start to walk towards the park once Kate is out of site. Inwardly I sigh. "I really hope she is okay." I think to myself. Making my way to the park I start my search for the one who my heart has chosen.
As I walk through the park I try to keep a look out for those long beautiful brown curls that reach to the middle of her back. Just the thought of her brings a smile to my face. I start imagining what things could be like. Her lips would be soft a luscious. When our lips touch hers would be soft against mine. I smile just thinking of all the possibilities. I slowly start to wonder what her smile would be like as I once again become further lost in my fantasy world.
She's there. I'm there. We both are enjoying each other's company. Hand in hand we walk along the beach....I shake my head when my thoughts take me too far.
